Dr. Francesco Belviso, a licensed clinical psychologist, is dedicated to fostering an engaging and supportive environment to help people navigate life transitions, improve their relationships, and overcome professional and academic challenges. He has extensive experience in assisting people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and grief. As a way to address immediate concerns, he helps clients gain deeper insights into their experiences, empowering them to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.

Dr. Belviso completed his clinical training (Doctoral Internship and Fellowship) at Northwestern University’s Counseling and Psychological Services. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from The Chicago School, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association. With over fifteen years of practice, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work.

Beyond psychotherapy, Dr. Belviso actively contributes to the field of psychology. He has conducted workshops on various topics, including deepening romantic relationships, enhancing peak performance, searching for personal fulfillment, and Jungian psychology. He has also trained students at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in self-care and mindfulness-meditation skills. As an educator, he teaches psychology doctoral courses and provides clinical supervision.

In his previous life, Dr. Belviso obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University and was recognized with the Young Economist Award by the European Economic Association. He has also contributed to research activities at the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
