Dr. Belviso is a licensed clinical psychologist. Within a supportive environment, he offers engaged, purposeful therapy on relationships, work and school-related issues, life transitions, and stress management. In addition, Dr. Belviso specializes in working with grief, depression, and anxiety.
Dr. Belviso completed his clinical training (Doctoral Internship and Fellowship) at Northwestern University, Counseling and Psychological Services. He graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from The Chicago School, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association. He has been practicing psychology for over fifteen years.
In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Belviso has offered workshops on couples relationships, peak performance enhancement, search for fulfillment, and Jungian psychology. At Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, he has trained students in self-care and mindfulness-meditation skills. He also provides clinical supervision and teaches psychology doctoral courses.
In his previous life, Dr. Belviso obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University and was awarded the Young Economist Award by the European Economic Association. He participated in research activities of the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
